Growth and Development of a young horse

Question
Hi there,

I have recently purchased a 2 year old Quarter Horse gelding as a barrel horse prospect.  He has been started under saddle and is doing well.  My only concern is his growth and development.  He only stands 14.0 hh at the withers and 14.2 hh at the hip.  What can I feed him to help maximize his growth in the next few years?  Thanks so much.

Answer
THERE IS A PRODUCT CALLED "BODY BUILDER" THAT A LOT OF THOROUGHBRED BREEDERS USE TO GET MAX GROWTH FROM THEIR YOUNG HORSES FOR THE SALES.

FORCED GROWTH, HOWEVER, CAB CAUSE OCD'S IN THE JOINTS.

YOU WILL GET A BETTER OLDER HORSE IF YOU JUST FOLLOW A GOOD FEEDING AND WORMING PROGRAM AND LET NATURE TAKE IT'S COURSE
