Question
hi,
well like i said my mare may or may not be pregnant i am not sure. i have done a lot of reserach but still cant derterm my self if she is pregnant. my uncle says they have pregnant bellies, but at the momemt my parents are trying to sell one house and remodel the other. so cant offered a vets help. )= but i have some photos of her taken two days ago. her stomach is usslaly bigger but it has been very cold and rainey out her latly. so i think she may have contrackted her muscels. cause ussally i can stand just 8 of my tiny feet away from her and still see her stomach from behind. lol. but i think we have her grass that is not too good for them, well its fine grass to eat, but i think its the grass that pregnant mares arent suppose to eat. im not sure but its that grass that is very long and as seeds at the top. we moved them there about a month ago and its already down to nothing so we bought a hay ball. gone in three days. lol.
any way here are some photos of her.

Answer
Dear Erica,
Just keep an eye on her, if she is in the begging stages not much will show to be a definate answer. If her teats begin to swell then it is a definate yes. Sometimes changing food can bloat horses, becarefull not to change food to fast or they can get colic.
If you are unable to afford a vet then the only thing to do is wait it out and see what happens, horses gain weight sometimes when summer is nearing an end to get ready for winter. If you haven't ridden her alot there is another way she will gain weight, or if her exercise has gone down to a slower pace. Just keep an eye on her, thats all you really can do.
