can ponies have false pregancy

Question
I bread a pony back last april but we didnt think she took now she has gain alot of weight and her tits are hugh and full of milk. when i let her in the barn to feed she looked as though she had it i walked the fields but i didnt fine anything. I know the foals have to turn because she is still heavy at the bottom of her belly. But what i was woundering could she just be having a false pregancy or do horses and ponies do that. Should i just have a vet come check her.

Dear Sharon,
          Many horses have fasle pregnancies, but they rarely go as far as leaking milk from the teets. I would definatly call a vet to get her a pregnancy check. Or you can just wait until she "foals" either way you will know one way or the other. If she is pregnant, NOT getting a test will not matter or won't harm her at all.
