shoeing the baby horses after lungeing

hello sir. my thoroughbred trainer has got 11 2 year olds in his stable. he says that he would shoe them only when they are get used to lunging since their hooves become hard enough and there would be drastic improvement of blood circulation in their legs. so, my question is, what happens if i shoe the babies early before lunging?

Nothing will happen !!
As I have said many times...Only reason to shoe a horse is for "protection or correction".

In my opinion, the hoof is growing and expanding, and it is advantageous to wait
and allow the hoof to "adjust" to the animal's weight & body size.

Again... Protect or Correct !!
