Questionwe dont get alot of sunlight in my house, so i take my turtle outside for at least an hour everyday. is this ok, or do i have to get her a lamp?
AnswerIt is a mixed blessing.
An hour of good sunlight is adequate for most of the turtle's ultra-violet lighting needs (UV light does not pass through glass, by the way!)
On the other hand, being shifted back and forth between habitats is stressful, as is being carried.
I would suggest making a nice place for it with good lighting, heat, etc. either indoors or out and simplify both of your lives.
