size of baby box turtles

Does the growth rate of baby box turtles have any relation to the size of it's environment? i have six babies that i have had since birth,January 2009, they seem to be basically the same size as they were in the beginning,I didn't know if they are just slow growers or you have to increase their space in order for them to grow?

they need loads of room to grow.. it is not true that they will only grow to the room they are given. In fact they will keep growing but will be pyramided etc from lack of proper care.
