Question
hi i have a almost 1year cherry head. he is very healthy and eats a lot
but i make it to a point not to over feed the guy.  in 1 week time im
planning to buy a sulcata hacthling captive bred...i plan to mixed them
in a single enclosure...what can u say?

Answer
Uhhh... mixing a high humidity, forest dwelling species that cannot digest a fiberous diet and desperately needs fruits and meats in the diet with a species that hates humidity (except in a high-humidity hiding place) species that can be made very ill by eating fruit and meat and needs a very dry fiberous diet?

It is almost like asking a fish and bird to share a tank.

As for a Sulcata... think this through before you buy. Because of the sheer size of this species, it is one of the most frequently abandoned or neglected species of tortoise there is. Many expert keepers feel it is animal abuse to try to raise one other than in an huge outdoor pen in the Southwest US.
