Hi, I have a female RES whose shell needs help shedding, it starts to shed off but not all of it comes off. Is there a product that helps her shell to shed or something that I can do to help?

Oops- the shell really is not supposed to shed visibly. She might be having a problem- diet, lighting, infection, etc.

First, to remove the exisiting sheddings, warm soaks and MILD scrubbing with salt, followed by some lotion might help- but you'll have to keep her in a dry tank for a while if the problem is an infection.

Take a minute to double check your cares and diet. If everything is OK and there is no sign of shell infection (dark, wet patches under the scutes for example), then I really would not worry too much about a little 'tight skin'.
