My fed footed tortoise..

It's a little hard to explain. welet her roam the house, and let her eat in the bathtub so she can poop as well. Ths and one time before Myrtle, my tortoise, has had a large pinky meat coming out of its tail. I'm not sure if our Myrtle is a boy, but it just stays out and we're just a litle worried. Thanks!

A mature male redfoot will have a concave plaston (bottom shell) and often something of an hourglass shape to the carapace (top shell).  The penis is *very* large (nearly as long as the tortoise) and has a wider, sort of cup-shaped tip; it's also somewhat dark in color.  It's possible your tortoise is a male and is "flashing," but there's also a possibility that there is some kind of prolapse.  Can you tell me more about how you keep Myrtle?  Diet, where you normally keep her, what kind of substrate, etc.?  Redfoot tortoises have a pretty high need for moisture, so if Myrtle is entirely free-roaming in your house, the chances of dehydration are pretty high.  That would be my first concern.  If you can give me more information, I'll try to be of more help.
