my 3 toed box turtle

I have a 3 toed box turtle (who is very handsome) is acting a little weird. Normally he hides until I put food in his tank, but lately, he has been basking under his lamp and bobbing his head a lot.

I was wondering, what does the head bob mean? Is it something we should be concerned about?

Head bobbing is usually an OK sign. Basking a lot might mean that the rest of the habitat is a bit cool for his tastes, however.
