WILL SLIGHTLY OPEN HIS EYES AND EAT I DID READ A ARTICLE
ABOUT EYE SWELLING /EAR PROBLEMS CAUSED BY DRY CONDITION
I KEEP A HEAT LIGHT ON ABOUT 80 DEGREES AND A WATER SOURCE

PARTIAL HIBERNATION JUST LOOKING FOR A LITTLE ADVISE

A ISOTONIC SALINE SOLUTION I HOPE THAT MAY NOT BE RELATED
TO HIS CONCERN THANKS FOR YOUR TIME

Answer
Steve,

Only a vet can diagnose your turtles condition.  Eye swelling could be caused by an infection, or vitamin A deficiency, or maybe he is trying to hibernate.  Also, it could be secondary to something more serious and if I guessed at how to treat it - the underlying problem would still be there and I'd basically be responsible.  Or it could be a combination of factors!

After your trip to the vet (any vet will do in a pinch, but I recommend an exotic vet) then write me back and I will help you correct the conditions that caused it.  I just need a diagnosis.

Thank you,
Amanda

PS I don't know what you mean by water source.  If you just mean a bowl of water, that is not enough humidity.  If the vet says that is the problem I can definately help you with that.  Let me know.
