my tortoises legs got chewed up by rats! i need help!!

please help me. my tortoise's legs got chewed up by a rat and i need some help. what should i do? first i took peroxide and cleaned to wounds and cleaned his living space. what else should i do for him? they are large wounds. please help asap. thank you!

what type tortoise?

NO PEROXIDE  it kills the new skin and tissues that are going to help heal.

Do not use it in the enclosure either.

OK, this can be serious. I really would need to talk to you. Usually I do not offer this but in this situation I will.
However Id prefer to call you so my children are not woke.

This can be deadly and is not to be taken lightly as rats have bacteria etc that can kill him and we need to get this cleared us ASAP
