QuestionI recently purchased 2 yearling red foots, the one is doing fine. and the other one has not eaten in a couple of weeks, I took him to the vet at the Pet Smart and they did a x-ray and feel he has a
blockage, maybe he ate some moss. I force fed him a tiny bit of chicken and I took the stool which was the color of chicken and they said he did not have any parasites. They recommended warm
soaks which I am doing, but he refuses to eat, and only weighs
a ounce. Do you have any suggestions, I think he will not last very much longer. Thank you for any information.
AnswerA non-eating Red-foot can be many things- usually basic issues like temperatures, humidity, diet, etc. I would need to know more about how you are caring for it to be able to offer specific advice- and this forum is not a good place for 'back and forth' conversations.
