Turtle Hibernation

How exactly do you hibernate a box turtle? I found a website http://www.boxturtlesite.info/dvmhib.html I understand most of it, but there are some things I don't understand. i was just wondering if you had an easier way to figure it out?

Can you give me more information?  I need to know what species you have, how long you've had it, and how you have it set up (indoor/outdoor, enclosure, lighting, UVB, diet, etc.).  I can give you better advice with more details.

Box turtles usually are best hibernated outside.  If you must do it outdoors, the instructions on the website you linked are very detailed.  Could you be more specific about what you don't understand?  In general, I don't recommend indoor hibernation unless you are sure you know what you're doing, have had your box turtle for at least a year, and are sure it is in good health.  Please post back with more info, and I'll do what I can to help.
