red eared slider issue

i have two, approx 8 mo old. one of them has recently started to have problems moving his rear legs and his tail is tucked against his (her?) body. there is some swelling under the back of the shell, any ideas? could the turtle be pregnant?

Hello Gregg,

Except the swelling, are there are other symptoms, like color or breathing changes?
Because if it is, your turtle might have an infection. If your turtle have problems moving it's leg it's probably because it's been damaged somehow (Many turtles accidently falls from rocks and other "platforms" which can give trouble with walking/swimming.
I think you should wait a few days, just to see if the health of your turtle improves. If it doesn't, you probably should contact a vet.
