Hi i have two pond turtles and i what to know how do i know the sex of the turtle.

In general, you cannot tell most pond turtles until there are about 4 years old.

At that point, many pond turtles show longer front claws on males, along with longer tails with the vent near the middle of the tail compared to females with the short tails and vent near the base.
