blind terapin

hi,i have a terapin but he's blind and so can't see the food i give him!! he hasn't eatin in ages and is getting really skinny :( how do you feed a blind terapin?? (and i'm sure he's blind and not just an infection!!)

They hunt by smell just as much, so if you are offering it a good diet in a good clean habitat, it should be able to smell it OK. Try http://www.redearslider.com for good care info, or http://www.turtleforum.com to talk to turtle keepers who might have other ideas.
