Question
I just bought my first glider from a pet store almost 3 days ago, i have a few questions, the first one is since i bought him from a pet store will he be harder to handle? i was wondering because I figured that he was use to people trying to touch him..he is a year old, not neutered. when i put yogurt on my finger hell lick it off, but when i stick another finger in his cage, the same way, and he doesn't smell the yogurt, hell try to bite me..how do i stop this? should i blow in his face when he bites me so he'll know not to bite? i know that your not suppose to use gloves but earlier today i wrapped the shirt that i put in his hammock around my hand and let him smell me, he bite for a little bit but then he realized it wasn't hurting me,is that bad to do? i mean now when i do it he'll bite once but then let go. does having him neutered make him easier to tame? should we use the wheel to trim his nails? and my last question is, will my scent rub off my shirt i gave him, someone suggested wearing it to bed at night then putting it in his cage in the morning but he peed and poo'd on it, should i just leave it?

Answer
just keep handling him and giving him treats from your hand and he will eventually learn you are not the enemy and the biting will stop,,,,just be patient with it and no dont pull away when he does bite cause that teaches him biting wont work.....using a shirt you wore is a good idea in his cage, if it gets too dirty you can always clean it or you can get a pouch and put him in there during the day on you so he gets your smell that way....
