Question
QUESTION: The other forum said "Too many follow-ups, please ask a new question" So im starting a new one.

You really are a very smart person!

I do have two set of pouches, I will put the two pouches in a bigger pouch or even big comfy purse with air?

Sounds like a fantastic idea! And i never thought to switch their cages, That is another AMAZING IDEA! I will be doing this with them tonight!

I have not put them togather yet, I just have their cages side by side. Now they no longer crab at eachother or hiss.

But they do bark, I think that is a good sign?

I also have NO IDEA how far pregnant she is, Or if she has joeys in her pouch, I have tried to look several times but it just stresses her out, For all I know she may not even be pregnant! But the lady i bought her from said she was and might even have already have had the joeys. But i am just going to give that time. Until then, I will keep the females seperated.  But i am FOR SURE going to switch and swop the cages, That is a fantastic idea! The introduction in the bathroom sounds great too. THANK YOU SO MUCH BETTY! You are a life saver!

One more question, My little stella has a black spot on the end of her tail, I see many gliders like this. But these two have like carmel tails all the way down. Is there a different name for them? Or are they just standard gliders too? I love them either way, I was just curious.

ANSWER: Hi Sarah,

I have never seen a glider with caramel coloring all down the tail.  I know white-tipped gliders are worth more than the regular grays.  Do you have a photo showing their tails?  Are these two related?  I'm curious, too!

QUESTION: Alrighty, Here is a couple pictures.

I sure HOPE they are not related. But that was my first thought too, The woman I got them from told me she bought them from a breeder, But she said she bought them from different parents so that they we're NOT related. But this does concern me = \ I need better pictures, I took these pictures the Night that I got them, He was so scared!! I know the date is WAYYYY off on the camera.
Here are the tails?? Do you see this much?

Answer
Hi Sarah,

You have beautiful gliders!  I am stumped as to the tail color.  Maybe you have a super rare variety that is worth a million dollars!  I have never seen a glider like that, and can find nothing on the Internet, either.  I suppose it is just an odd genetic quirk.  I'm sure it won't make any difference as to the gliders' health or welfare.

I do find it odd, however, that two gliders with the same oddity are not related.  Relax, the babies are probably fine.  Mating related gliders is not recommended, but more often than not, it will be okay.  There's nothing you can do but wait and see how it goes.

Good luck, please keep in touch,

Betty
