Snak Shak OK for Gliders?

Question
I got a pair of male gliders back in march.  They are doing just fine.  I want to get them some more toys to play with.  One of them was a hut to play in and eat.  The maker is Ecotrition, its called Snak Shak Natural Hide Away.  It says that it is 100% edible made with Fresh Alfalfa and Golden Honey.  Here are the ingredients: Pine Wood Shavings, Cassava Starch, Alfalfa, Fescue Straw, Sodium Alginate, Potassium Sorbate, Propionic Acid, Honey, Glycerin, and Propylene Glycol.  These are right of the box.  I just want to know it this is ok to put in the cage for them to play with.  Thank you for your time.

Answer
Dale,

I'm sure your gliders will enjoy the little house, but the "food" is intended for rodents.  As marsupials, gliders have an entirely different diet.  They most likely won't be interested in eating the house.  The honey is fine, but I am concerned about the straw, grasses, and wood shavings.  I would take it away from them if it appears they are actually eating it.

I hope this answers your question.
