Question
Hi, I have recently become a new owner of a Sugar glider. I got her yesterday but unfortunately i also caught a cold and have been sneezing all day. I am worried that i might pass it onto my new sugar as i am spending a lot of time with it as i am trying to get it use to me and bond. Should i be worried? Can they catch human colds? She is eating normally.

Thanx

Answer
no she cannot catch your cold..you may bond to her like you normally would.. animals don't catch human disease or sickness.. she "may" make your sinuses worse tho! .. some people exhibit allergies to sugar gliders.. so be cautious letting her near your face.. and always wash hands prior & after playtime!

Hope this helps

Have fun with your new baby..!!
