Sugar gliders had a baby

Question
I have had my sugar gliders for less than six months. I was told they were both girls so i was never worried about babies. Ive been away at college for about two months and came home to find one of the gliders had a baby. Its already out of the pouch and has all its hair. I feel terrible for not knowing she had a baby but my mom was taking care of them and making sure they were fed and cleaned and that was about it. So I honestly have no clue what to do or how to care for it. Help please

Answer
So have you determined if the other one s a male or not..??
It is also possible the female was bred prior to you buying them..
I have actually had this happen a LOT.. the last female I bought was
with joey.. a pleasant surprise indeed..!!

No Worries.. there is noting you need to do but continue to take care of momma..
she and her cage mate will take care of the little one..
in another month or so you will want to handle the baby to ensure that he/she is
accustomed to handling which will make it much easier to re-home him..
What color is he..?? You will most likely be able to recoup some of your monies
when you adopt him out.. just be sure either they are glider experienced and/or
they have done their glider research..!!

Thanks & Keep in touch.. I would love to hear back..!!
