Male glider

I recently adopted a 5 month old male sugar glider. He is awesome! He is very rambunctious at night and can't wait to get out of his cage and jump every where. My question is, is it normal that his penis comes out almost daily? I have seen it out a Lot lately and am wondering why. It just stays out sometimes even when he is just running  around the cage. I don't know if he is just a happy adolescent or if something more serious is going on. Also, it is just him. He is the only glider I have.

Gliders have bifurcated penis actually.. so it will appear as two little stringy appendages..

Yes it is quite normal for a glider to protrude his penis as he is going through maturity..

You may also see him grooming himself more.. it is of no real concern..

You may consider neutering the little guy if you are not wanting to breed..
