housing corns and balls

Question
i've got a butter corn around two and a half feet long and interested in housing another snake with it. i was in my neighborhood pet shop the other day and seen they have a couple of baby ball pythons for sale for $40. i want to put them together in a 20L aquarium. is it possible without the snakes harming eachother? the balls are about 8-10 inches but wider than my corn. please let me know if this is possible.

Answer
Hi Luke
I strongly caution against putting other types of snakes together in the same cage. Other species snakes (such as your butter corn) may have care requirements and different types of disease/infection that a Ball Python's immune system cannot handle. Also, you would have to quarantine your new snake for 2 months before even putting him in the same cage as your other snake to be sure they don't have a disease or parasites. Best advice is to get another cage if you plan on getting a different species of snake :-)
