Corn snake weird behaviour

Hi my corn snake started acting weird after feeding today. it ate 1 out of the 2 usual pinkies i feed it. About an hour later i found it laying completely upside down. I put it by it water and it opened its mouth and seems as if it was biting itself. and has been turning its head to its side constantly as if it were trying to hide.he also has been wrapping itself up into a coil shape. I plan on taking him to the vet tommorrow when it opens but i was just wondering if you knew what was wrong with him.

I've seen behavior like you are describing, though I don't know what causes it. Usually when I have a snake that lays upside down, it doesn't do too well. More often than not, they seem to die. I can't explain it. I think that taking it to the vet is probably the best thing that you can do and hopefully he/she can figure it out. Did this just start with this one feeding? If so, it does seem very odd.
