do panther gecko need an undertank heat and if so where do i get it?

Hi Tajadda,

They need a heat source and because they are nocturnal and ground dwelling I prefer to use  an undertank heat pad for them rather then a heat light. Heat pads use much less wattage and will last much longer then a heat bulb as well.

Undertank heat pads are a very standard item for reptiles and any pet store that stocks reptiles will have them. Even stores that may not have live reptiles but stock some reptile supplies should carry them.
