Monitor not eating

Question
Hi Tracie, I bought a savannah monitor about two weeks ago. I fed him two hoppers in one day then another hopper two days later. He took all the mice right away. But just the other day I tried feeding him again but he wouldn't take it. He just looked at it then ran away. I also noticed that there is no fecal matter anywhere in his dish and his belly still feels full even after about five days from his last meal. Do you think you could help me out please? I do not have the money to go to a vet, so I hope that it's nothing too serious. Thank you

Answer
Hello Jacob,

What are your temperatures for the basking spot at?
How big is he?
He is probably impacted, most likely.

Try giving some soft foods such as squash baby food, sugar free applesauce & some canned pumpkin.
You can mix in a few drops of olive or mineral oil as well.  Give him a daily bath also, to help him.
Do you have any pictures of him?
