fire skink

I have had a fire skink for a few weeks. It's  very nice . Every day that I've had him he has ate 2 times a day . Worms and crickets. Good eater as well 8 to ten a day. Morning and night. Last 3 days he's had nothing at all since I've gotten him he is always taking food for me right out of my hand from a pair of tweezers now he shied away when I bring him food everything is normal he poops drinks water the cage size humidity heat bedding is all correct .how long can you go without eating and what should I do to make sure that he does eat .

I'm less concerned that he is "nice" and more concerned that you follow the directions and provide the REQUIRED background information as laid out in my instructions. You don't know what the problem is and you have come here for help on a health related issue with a reptile. I don't know that you know what "correct" is when it comes to humidity and bedding, thus, I don't want to hear someone tell me it is "correct"....I require them to tell me what it is, so that I know for a fact it is correct. Please follow up with the proper history and environmental conditions if you want further help. I'm not a genie in a bottle, and I can't and won't make blind stabs in that dark based on an inferior level of information.
