Question
Hello,
This is a long story. When I got Louie he was 3 years old from a rescue center, he has lots of damage from his previous owner I only know of the visible injuries I never received a copy of his vet notes. He's lived with us for 6 years now and is very placid he loves attention and enjoys his free roam time, that said he does have an enclosure with heat lamp, UV and night light, I am told by the lady we adopted him from that my husbandry is ideal for him, his temp's are all good and his behavior is not a result of poor care.
Here is my big concern as nobody can seem to come up with an answer and my vet can't see me for another 2 weeks.
His diet (that I have not changed since we got him) has always been a variety of live food, crickets, locust, winged locust, meal worm, silk worm, and pinkies defrosted at room temp for 3 hours, however he has not taken any of the above in maybe 3 months and his vegetarian diet of many fruit and vegetables including dandelion flowers and leaves thoroughly washed and a couple of other flowers recommended from care sheets, he hasn't been interested in any of these either for around 2 months, and since I felt I had no alternative I relented and gave him some plain scrambled eggs cooked well and a little bit of lean grilled beef burger which he really enjoyed. I did this once a week for about a month and tried him daily with his diet of live food and fruit veg ect which he still wouldn't entertain. This last month has been a real struggle as he won't take ANYTHING except water, so week 4 rolled around on Thursday just gone and I began to panic, I woke up Friday morning not knowing what my next move should be to a very nasty shock. Louie was in his bed feeling  very lethargic and looking  very sorry for him self. He wouldn't raise his head without help, his joints were stiff, I massaged his legs and he walked a little shakily ( I immediately rang for an appt. with my vet) I was unable to speak with the vet for advice so in my limited experience of knowledge as to the reason behind this I rang the only person I could, the lady who runs the rescue center where I got him, we went through all the temps in the viv everything he could possibly have come into contact with ect but nothing stood out. I finally decided that my next course of action should be to ensure he gets some food in his belly. I then got some small jars of baby food and a syringe and began to feed him 3 mils of baby food every 4 hours as I know not to over fill his shrunken tummy, since I began this he has stopped taking water, at this stage I am not overly worried about this as he is getting moisture from the food. My biggest worry is this..He isn't moving very well at all he is 9 years old now so age I feel is a factor and I'm worried he has a touch of arthritis however I am unsure of how to make him more comfortable until I can get seen by the vet. Please if any of what I've said makes sense and you can give me some idea's and suggestions I would be most grateful, as you can tell I love him so much and it kills me to watch him suffer like this he is usually very active and social but he just doesn't want to know. I should also mention that I began to think he has arthritis because the shoulder joint on his ffont right leg had a little bit of inflammation which as quickly as it came went away.
Many thanks in advance I very much appreciate any reply you make.

Answer
Ok this may sound wild at first but I have had people email me after reading this article with very good results http://reptileapartment.com/2011/12/15/ttouch-for-rehabilitating-reptiles/ I am sure it is an age thing but I do believe the TTouch therapy does work from what I have been told.
