Can a baby be kept in a ten gallon/twenty gallon tank? for how long? Do these become as tame as the bearded dragons? How offen and how much does a baby need to be fed?

Answer
Hi,
I assume you mean Physignatus cocincinus with Green Water Dragon. The english name is not very definite and often only used by a particular pet shop. It's better to use the species name which is international and unique.

You can keep both species in a twenty gallon as a baby but only for a month or so, then they will have outgrown it. I don't recommend it.
It's better and cheaper to get a tank/terrarium of the size a fully grown Bearded Dragon /Water Dragon needs and then built in a wall made from glass/plexi glass. In that way the terrarium can grow with the animal.

I have no experience with keeping Water Dragons and can say nothing about their temperament and if they will get tame. Even Bearded Dragons won't be as tame as, say, a hamster, a cavvie or any other mammal. They don't like being petted all the time (closing their eyes means discomfort!) and can only be out of their tank for about 15 minutes because they must have warm surroundings and can get pneumonia if they get too cold.

A young Water or Bearded Dragon should be fed every day, give them five small crickets, dust the food with a vitamin supplement every second feeding. They should be fed a great variety of insects: locusts, crickets (try different cricket species, many reptiles hate the black ones), roaches, zophobas (super mealworms), silk worms, earth worms.
Many Bearded Dragons will eat vegetables and fruit and some Water Dragons like them, too. Try what they like.

I hope I was of some help to you
