brown bahama anole lizard

I think my lizard is sick.  He is a pale tannish color and has a notch on the top of the start of his tale.  Please help.

Sounds like he's very dehydrated, if the notch is a dimpling in the base of the tail allowing the vertebrae to stick out.  I'm only guessing since You do not give me age or what kind of habitat you have him in.  They need 80% humidity and access to water.  Has he been eating?  How old is he?  See if he responds to a good misting and a shallow pan of water.  If this is not the problem, a good reptile vet should see him.
