My son Gecko

Hi my son Jordan has a Gecko and we are not sure of his age, but we have had him for about 8 months he has shed his skin about 4  times and has always had good eating habits both crickets and meal worms but over the past week he has been having problems with his mobility his legs look as if they are in a lot of pain and he's not walking around at all but will drink his water and I hand feed worms and crickets

Hi Patricia! It sounds to me as if your son's gecko is having calcium deficiency problems. Have you been gut loading, and dusting the mealworms and crickets with a good quality multi vitamin and calcium supplement? If not you'll need to start in order for the gecko to get the calcium it needs. As it has lost mobility in it's back legs, you need to get him to the vet to get calcium syrup, and an opinion as far as his loss of mobility goes farther than that.
