Baby Albino Leopard Gecko

Question
First of all, I want to thank you for your time. I bought a leopard gecko about a week ago and he is doing great. A few days ago, I adopted a baby albino leopard gecko because he has a broken left arm (its broken right below the shoulder. Or it could be that his shoulder is out of place?) I was worried about them getting along but when I put the baby albino("Munchie") with the baby leo ("Jareth"), Jareth walked up to Munchie and licked his face. I was worried jareth might try to bite munchie but jareth has been taking care of him it seems. He lays next to munchie im guessing to keep him warm. Jareth eats fine and his tail is beginning to gain thickness but I'm worried about Munchie. He is soo tiny, maybe 3 inches long and his tail is very thin. He wouldnt eat when i brought him home but i thought that was because of environment change. He can walk around fine but he wont chase after any crickets. I tried feeding him with tweezers but he still wouldnt eat the crickets so I read online that you can feet them meaty baby food so i've been trying to feed him and giving him water by a serynge. He wont eat alot he only licks it a few times and i know thats better than nothing but he doesnt seem to be getting better. Also, yesterday I was holding him and he started opening his mouth very wide and shaking his head and he pooed a yellow and green so I put him back in the habitat and examined his poo. It was the green moss that you put in the moist hide so apparently he had eaten moss while he was at the pet store. His belly looks a little bruised and I'm worried if he's going to be able to pass it or if this is going to cause bad problems.. Please help if you can. Thanks again very much.

Answer
Hello Ashley,

It sounds like your baby might be impacted with that moss!!  You are going to have to intervene quickly if that is the case.
If he is not eating or licking much, you are going to have to very carefully try to get his mouth open with a swab to get a littl more food into him.  Use some babyfood mixed with a bit of applesauce, or pumpkin & a drop of olive or mineral oil to help everything pass through better.
That is terrible.  Poor guy.
Do you have an undertank heater so he can try to pass that mass?  Wow I cannot guarantee that he will be able to pass it being SO tiny!
He definitely is not feeling well, especially since he was shaking his head like that.
Please keep me posted on him!
