baby lizard...I think !

I was at my daughter's school this morning and as I was coming down the stairs I almost stepped on this lizard or so i think it is, it may be a gecko any how i brought it home and now  I am not sure how to take care of him...I do have guinea pig and a turtle .....pleas help...we live in NORTH TEXAS also were I found baby .

Could you please send a picture of him to me so I could see him?  We need to figure out what type of lizard or gecko it is, as their care will greatly vary from species to species.
I would start out by putting him in a small tank with a low wattage basking bulb with paper towels in the bottom.  Turn off the lights overnight though.
