rapid shaking of tail

i just bought a leopard gecko. i put it in the inside of my shirt. i forgot about him and i leaned up against the table. all of a sudden, his tail shakes wildly. what is the problem?

thank you for your question.
I think that the tail shaking was a reaction to being squeezed, maybe because it hurt or maybe as a warning, because the gecko didn't know how else to react. Tail shaking is a gesture male leopard geckos just to threaten other males and to find out if they have to fight another gecko they encounter.
