baby leos not eating

Question
I am new to owning leopard geckos. Have 2 new babies (I think they may be around 2-3 months old??), got them 12/20. They have the perfect set up and they are not eating on a daily basis. They seem very skiddish, we put the food down and they will walk away. They are fed pinhead crickets and mealworms, now trying waxworms, they also seem very skinny. They stay in the moist hide for the most part of the day and night and don't seem so active. I just don't want them to get sick or die, or us rush them back to the pet store too early without giving them a chance. What should I be looking for, is this all normal? From what i've read it seems that they are acting normal, just not sure.

Answer
Hello Kelly, sorry for the late reply, my electricity has been out for a few days, so I have been without a computer.

Skiddish is normal, and them not eating much is also normal at first. It can take a while for them to get used to their new setup. They are still unsure of their new surroundings and may be unsure of the food. Probably just scared and stressed from the move.

Try and give them some space, quiet and calmness around their tank. Give them time to get used to it.

Hope this helps,
Heather
