How do you tell the gender of these lizards?

Answer
 If the lizard is very young, the male will have a black patch on his throat.  If adult, the best way is size.  Females are larger in this species.  The average female ranges 4 t0 6 inches snout to vent, while the male's range is a petite 2 1/2 to 4 1/2 inches.
