Leopard gecko compatibility

Can the Leopard gecko and the Desert horned lizard co exist in the same tank?

Hi Patrick,
Sorry, nope they cannot live in the same tank.  They have different needs.  The needs are so different that it would be impossible to give each what they need and both would suffer and most likely die.
The leo is also nocturnal(active during the night) and the horned lizard is diurnal(active during the day, requires uvb). The temperatures that a horned lizard require would "cook" an leo.
Its recommended to never house different species together, and with many reptiles, even the same species cannot be housed together.
