Terrapin Behaviour

Question
Hi,
I have a female red earred terrapin. She is over 10 years old and over the last 2 to 3 years has been laying eggs.  In recent times we have had to get her induced to help her get the process going.  One year she had 18 eggs!

In April this year she stopped eating and started swimming like crazy and climbing so we took her to the vet.  She had a clutch of 3 eggs and we got her induced which worked.

She continued for a couple of weeks to be restless and off her food, we got her checked and no eggs, the vet couldn't understand why she was behaving like this.

About 2 weeks after this she started eating again and seembed fine.  Thenm about a week go she stopped eating again and started climbing.

Do you know why she would behave like this?  Is there something we can do to help her start eating again?

Answer
Louise,                                                                 I am sorry it took me so long to get back to you on this matter. I have done alot of research on this and got in touch with our local herpetological assoc. and I really have no idea why she is behaving in this manner.I am sorry I can't give you more helpful info. I will keep doing some research and if I find anything new I will get back to you......Tina
