when it lays an egg how do I care for it?

Answer
Use a tupperware container with holes in the lid to give some air circulation and set it into a bed of vermiculite which is moistened properly.  Or get a reptile incubator or hovabator to incubate the egg. Make sure not to turn the egg as this may break the embryonic cells inside and destroy the egg.
