Rabbit labor and delivery

Question
My rabbit is a medium sized one year old female. She is pregnant and was due 3 days ago. This morning she gave  birth to one still born baby. She is still pregnant though. I can see the babys moving in her belly. When will she give birth? Is this normal? She also never nested, did not pull fur. Is that OK? She lives in the house so the babys will be warm if she has them alive. Please help!

Answer
Hi Heather,

It is normal that there be a break between births. If she does not have them by 24 hours after the first, then she may require veterinary help. She should have pulled fur and made a nest. If she has the rest and there is still no nest, you will need to make a nest for her (hay & cotton wool).

Hope this Helps
