Help! Is my rabbit sick?

Question
My pet bunny, whom I've had for a year and a half stopped eating yesterday. He hasn't even eaten his favorite treats! I've been feeding him normally, and yesterday I went out for about an hour, and when I came home the entire room smelled exactly like a skunk had just been in there. There was no poop in his litter bin, and there was a little small "mushy" mess on his igloo. (not to be too graphic, but it may help!) He hadn't eaten anything! The entire day went by, and he still hadn't pooped. I woke up this morning and there was a little bit of urine in his bin, but still no poop. He wont eat or poop! I noticed yesterday that when I went to go pet his head, I would put my hand on him and he would move his head to the left. He is still doing it occasionally now. I also noticed that he was scratching his ear alot, and so I figured that may be the problem. I looked in his right ear, and there was dark brown crusty-looking earwax! The other ear was perfectly clean. He is scratching his ear constantly, and I noticed that when he moves his head, he moves it so I won't touch that ear! What's wrong with my baby? And what can i do to get him to eat normally again?!

Answer
Well, the dark brown earwax could be ear mites, in which case he needs to be treated with Ivermectin.  Don't let them clean out the ear, if they use Ivermectin all the stuff will fall out within a few days (and yes, at that point the mites will be dead).

Soft poop is generally cecal pellets, and they are aromatic.

Is he moving his head to the left, or tilting it to the left?  If he is tilting it, that's a serious problem.  However, the sore ear may just be very painful.

If he is not eating, he needs to see a rabbit-knowledgeable veterinarian to see why he is not eating. There are any number of reasons he has stopped eating.

There is information on GI stasis at http://homepage.mac.com/mattocks/morfz/rabrefs.html#gi
