Revolution/Stronghold

Hi there I want to buy some stronghold for my 2 rabbits fleas w/o a presecrition. they weigh 7lbs each would you reccoment the toy dog or kitten/puppy version?

Dear Lisa,

Unfortunately, Revolution is prescription only.  You'll need to find a rabbit-savvy vet who will probably want to do a bunny exam before prescribing this.  But once the exam is done, the vet will likely allow you to get the medication again without a check-up.

There are two strengths:  60mg/ml, and 120mg/ml  The more concentrated version is in the large dog formulas, but the concentration should be marked on the package.  If not, be sure to ask the vet.

For the 60mg/ml solution, use 0.1cc/kg of body weight.  For the 120mg/ml solution, use 0.05cc/kg of body weight.  Your vet will show you how to measure out and administer this.
