Question
Hi there Samantha,
First of all i would like to thank you very much for helping all of us rabbit people.
my question is: I was told that you can put Vanilla (1 TSP.) to a gallon of water - this is to stop some of the smell of the urine and cut it down. Is this true or not?
Question 2: what can you use in there litter box for litter? I have not had a inside rabbit before.

Thanks so much
Liz the Lionhead Rabbit.

Answer
:) You are welcome. Always glad to help fellow rabbit people. Actually it is vinegar 1 tsp in the water to stop some of the smell. Apple cider is best and better flavored to the rabbits.
For litter boxes I use dried corncob litter. It is ok if they eat it, and is way more absorbant than any other bedding safe for rabbits. If this isn't possible for you to use, Then use pine shavings. It is next safest.
