Question
Good Day:  This is my 3rd dwarf, yet I am still learning so much about them. This is my first female however. The first couple of months, she was very very friendly, following us around, wanting attention, being held, petted, played with. She's in a LARGE cage, 3x3x4 with 2 lower levels and 2 upper levels for her amusement. She's appearingly a healthy blue siamese(well it's what cats are called with her coloring), healthy clear eyes, silky, soft coat, no excessive shedding. Healthy appetite, eats around 2 oz a day, plus a cup of mixed vegies & fruits. 16% protein pellets. Now she is not much on being held, when she does allow for it, she digs at our chest(s), but she licks my roomies nose, she's very fond of his nose, like kisses. Thumping hasn't started yet. She has free roam of the house for up to 13 hours a day, going in and out of her cage for food, and potty. Is there a means to get her back to socializing and playing more with us? She doesn't bite, but loves a phone book in her cage, to chew and shred.

How can I get her back to being a more socialized bunny?

Answer
Mainly just working with her often and always exposing her to friendly actions such as praise and soft toned voices around her will help her to be calm. Eventually she will get used to you guys and let you pet her and hold her. It just takes time for her to fully enjoy it.
