behaviour in rabbits

hi,i hope you can reply my message, i just want to ask why does my rabbit keep shaking the head n run around the cage as i wash the ears quite often, is there anything i can do or just ignore it?

Does he run around and jump and shake his head?  If that is the case, he is just demonstrating that he is happy.  If he sits and shakes his head, he could have something in his ears bothering him, and I would let him clean it out unless by chance he has ear mites.  

Rabbits who are not disabled are generally able to keep their own ears clean.
