dog attack

Question
I was away and my neighbors were taking care of my rabbit. While I was gone, my rabbit was attacked by wild dogs. She was in a wire cage, and her side has fur ripped off but isn't bleeding, and her feet were bleeding but arn't anymore.
The attack was yesterday, and I returned today. She seems to be doing ok; she's eating (but a little less than normal) and drinking. She's pretty reluctant to move her feet which are bandaged.
I'm not sure how much she'd need a vet, is there much I can be doing for her at home?

Answer
Hi,

she needs vet attention.  She will require antibiotics. Stitches.  Probably some fluids as she will not have been drinking enough.

Ma'am, why would you not think to get her to a vet first thing?  Is she not your pet?  She's obviously injured.  Honestly, get her to a good rabbit vet immediately.

And please don't keep her outside anymore.  The wild dogs know she's there.  They will try to come back again.  Why traumatize your bunny?

Please get her in to a good rabbit vet tomorrow. Not all vets are good rabbit vets so start here:
