Question
Hello Emily,
I have 2 female rabbits, (dwarf and mini lop, bonded both 1 year) that have a large walk-in closet where their cage is. That is there "home" and they get to run around freely in there. My husband and I will be moving at the beginning of August, and the new place does not have a large closet like the one that they are used to. I am just wondering what is the best way to introduce them to a new enviorment so that they will feel comfortable? Thank you!

Answer
Hello Kelly.

The best way to introduce them to a new environment is just to follow these steps:

1. Get wherever they will be staying ready before they enter.
2. While traveling to your new house, gently, relax them by stroking them in their favorite spot and keep saying in a friendly tone Its Ok (then your rabbits name.)
3. Leave them alone for 24 hours, just to get use to it.
4. Make sure they are eating and drinking and also cleaning.
5. Then your rabbit should be and have the same usual personality.

I hoped this helped
