What is the life span of a lop rabbit? Is one year like 7 years as a dog? How much of a carrot can a rabbit have in a day

The life span of a 'lop' rabbit depends, generally dwarf lops and mini lops live 6-12 years, sometimes longer. French lops and german lops lifespan is around 4-8 years. Rabbits can have up to a dinner plate full of fresh food per day, but this shouldnt be just carrots - nor should you give this straight away. Up to the age of about 5 months old a rabbit shold be fed no fresh food at all. When starting to feed, feed in small amounts such as half a carrot once a week for 2 weeks, then twice a week for 2 weeks etc.
