Question
I have a Mini Rex cross doe....I'm trying to figure out waht she is crossed with. The people at the auction had her listed as purebred mini rex but the man that tattooed her said her fur was too long to be pure mini...how do i get some idea of what she could be? Now on to my second question/problem....
I also have a mini rex buck, i'm trying to him to breed my doe....they are both breeding age, i can't figure this out, is there something special that needs to be done or are my bunnies just "Flops"? I have put her in with him and wait for awhile but nothing happens...I tried again Last Night (10/24/2005) and she seemed more interested in him than before....so i waited for awhile and nothing....I tried again this morning (10/25/2005), and still nothing...there are times that she will stretch out in front of him but he acts like she's not there half the time. how do i get these two to successfully breed? PLEASE HELP ME!

Answer
There are breed photos at http://www.arba.net/photo.htm  If your rabbit has curly whiskers, she is likely a purebred Minirex, only Rex rabbits have the curly whiskers.  Her hair also has to be very short, all the same length, and feel very plush.

If you read our description it states we don't engage in breeding, so we can't answer any questions about it.  You might try one of the other people on this forum to see if they can help you with that.
